The Curious Eye

She didn’t mean to do it.
Not really. It’s just that the colors 

were so bright, like blood in the grass, 

and the spiders were on the move. 

The awards from long ago just weren’t 

enough anymore, and she had to have that 

metal case.
At least the floor is clean.
